Support Group

Support group meetings are designed for all patients in the program whether you have had surgery or are still preparing for surgery. This monthly support group provides you with the opportunity to meet other patients as they discuss and share ideas with others involved in the program. Join our dietitian and nurse coordinator as they discuss different educational topics the third Wednesday of each month. Our program does require at least one support group prior to surgical weight loss.

Get Involved

Meetings are held at HIMG, located at 5170 US Route 60 East Huntington, WV 25705, in the community room every third Wednesday of the month from 5 to 6 p.m. Our support group is open to any and all considering surgery, preparing for surgery, or have had surgery in the past. Feel free to bring a friend, everyone is welcome!
