At St. Mary’s Regional Heart Institute, we treat a wide variety of vascular diseases including: aneurysms of the abdominal aorta (AAA), peripheral arterial disease (PAD), occlusive disease of the cerebrovascular circulation by open and endovascular techniques, dialysis access and minimally invasive treatments for venous disease. We provide a comprehensive approach for the treatment and management of peripheral arterial disease, a disease process that affects millions of Americans every year. This collaborative effort often involves coordinating care between numerous specialties including Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, Vascular Surgery, Podiatry and General Surgery. Our providers collaborate closely with the St. Mary’s Wound and Hyperbaric Center, often evaluating and managing arterial or venous disease that may be the cause of delayed wound healing.
