Since 1997, Dr. Sanjeev Sharma has served the Tri-state region's cancer patients at St. Mary's Medical Center.
As a board-certified radiation oncologist, he actively participates in research with the Radiosurgery Society through the RSSearch Patient Registry and is an expert in SRS (stereotactic radiosurgery) and SBRT (stereotactic body radiotherapy).
Dr. Sharma graduated with his undegraduate degree in chemistry from Marshall University in 1989. He attended medical school at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine and completed his radiation oncology residency at the University of Kentucky in 1997.
He is an active member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology and has many research publications focused on the topics of stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic body radiotherapy.
