The Community Care Clinic at St. Mary’s Medical Center, a member of Marshall Health Network, offers high-quality, accessible health care to low-income residents across the Tri-State area, serving those at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Guided by the St. Mary’s mission of "The Love of Christ Impels Us" inspired by St. Vincent Pallotti, the clinic is committed to ensuring preventive and specialized health care for all eligible adults, whether insured or uninsured.

“St. Mary’s Community Care Clinic offers a broad array of services including medical, endocrine, cardiac and surgery clinics, supported by a team of skilled medical professionals dedicated to patient-centered care,” said Amanda Long, RN, Coordinator of the Community Care Clinic. “Through St. Mary’s Community Care Clinic, we remain dedicated to delivering quality, compassionate care for those most in need, ensuring patients have access to the health services they deserve.”

In partnership with Facing Hunger Foodbank, the clinic also provides monthly food boxes to patients who meet financial eligibility requirements. These boxes include fresh produce, meat and pantry staples to help address nutritional needs as part of holistic health support. To further assist patients, an on-site social worker is available to connect individuals to essential resources, such as transportation support, medical bill assistance and food security services.

The clinic focuses on preventive and specialized health care; however, primary mental health, pain management, urological, neurological and orthopedic care are not provided directly. For these services, St. Mary’s Community Care Clinic coordinates referrals to trusted specialty providers. Although medications are not dispensed on-site, prescriptions are conveniently sent to local pharmacies.

Patients interested in receiving care must complete eligibility paperwork and provide proof of household income (e.g., pay stubs, VA statements, Social Security documentation, W-2s, or quarterly tax statements). Enrollment paperwork can be obtained by contacting the clinic’s social worker, who is available to assist with the application process. Clinic services require scheduled appointments, as walk-in visits are not available. All new patient appointments are scheduled following physician approval.
