The neurophysiology department is able to monitor the brain minute by minute with equipment specifically designed for and dedicated to continuous electroencephalographic (CEEG) monitoring. This technology allows physicians and staff to view a patient’s brain activity for extended periods of time to detect abnormalities in function before irreversible damage occurs.
