Job Shadowing Program

Job Shadowing allows students the opportunity to experience potential career paths to determine if it is a good fit for the individual. St. Mary's Medical Center is dedicated to providing opportunities for young minds to learn and develop a passion for their career choice.

If you are a college student seeking an internship, all of our internship opportunities are posted at marshallhealthnetwork.org/careers.

The Job Shadowing program is open to high school students and college students. Any student under the age of 18 must have parental consent.

An online application is required before a student can be considered for the program. The student must provide, on or before the first day of shadowing, proof of the following immunizations:

  • COVID-19 Vaccination
  • MMR
  • Varicella (or attest to having had chickenpox)
  • Tdap
  • Negative TB test within the last 12 months
  • Flu shot (only required during flu season, October-March)
